Finally finished my quilt for the 8th round of my very favourite swap - the Doll Quilt Swap.
I absolutely LOVE this quilt and it was loads of fun to make too.
I think there will be more dresden plates appearing soon!
It is now flying to its new home far, far away and hopefully that person will love it as much as I do.
Go and have a look at all the stunning quilts in this round. Seriously these just get better and better every swap.
And for all those who like making doll quilts, or any quilt for that matter I will have something special for you in the next couple of days so look out! And yes it does include the word 'giveaway'!!
Oh and did you notice that I have now completed two of those projects I had in my post the other week. That's not bad really. And the third I should be able to finish tomorrow so maybe you will even see that here soon!

Oh Louise! It's absolutely adorable! I love the bright, cheerful flowers. So, do you have a wall where you hang your quilts from the swap?
I love this! The colours are just gorgeous on the flowers... and I love the fabric you used for the background.

Oh my! I want it!!
Simply stunning. Love the fabrics, especially the background fabric, and the hand-stitching is beautiful. It is truly a work of art.
Looks even better in the flesh! Lucky partner!!

i adore this quilt louise. as usual your quilt is one of the bestest! :o)
I love your Dresden Flowers! I have been doing some Plates and don't know what to do with them - though they are much bigger than your flowers I think, but I am thinking I might make a smaller version and start planting a garden!
Thanks for sharing they are just gorgeous.
