A lovely week!

We started our Sunday with one of our favourite brekkies.

Sunday breakfast

Then a few chores were done on a windy day.

Washing

The sun is shining and the garden is coming to life.

The postman was kept busy this week too.

I got some lovely presents from Cathy. Some very pretty green cotton to make myself a dish cloth - I'm thinking cherries this time. And some adorable paper doll fabric which I just love. I'll have to think of something special to use it for. Thanks so much Cathy it was a really lovely, thoughtful surprise.

Presents from Miss Marzie

And I received two swap parcels.........

My wonderful autumn quilt from Julie W arrived this week. It has such amazing colours in it and such vibrancy.

Autumn Quilt

I just love the back fabric and it even has a rod holder attached so it can be hung - I think it will be great for Halloween. Thanks so much Julie - your work is fantastic.

Autumn Quilt Back

And another special parcel arrived from the lovely Jade. Look at all these goodies for the Scrap Swap.

Scrap Swap goodies

Some cute bits and pieces for the girls and a fab little squirrel purse for me!

Squirrel Purse

But just check out these lovelies...

Piles of lovely scraps

Chloe brought them to me while I was in bed the next morning to tell me which ones she and Lucinda had decided were 'theirs'!!

I have yet to have a really good play with these - there are some really decent size 'scraps' amongst each little pile - thanks for your generosity Jade.

And to top it all off - guess who got shoes!!!

New shoes for Daphne!

Now she can get outside...

Daphne

and throw the ball ...

Daphne

and chase poor Ella!!

Life is good here - have a great week!

How funny - my little girl got the same shoes from Clarks at the beginning of the summer - they are in quite a sorry condition now!
Love the fabrics and the quilt - what lovely post you have had.

Boy, a post full of such loveliness! All of the swap goodies are fabulous, the shoes are adorable, and I love the shirt picture. The crepes look yummy -- that's something I've never made but keep telling myself I will. They just seem so hard, but people say they're really easy. Someday!

What cute shoes! I can't wait to go shoe shopping for the bub's first walker pair, too. :-)

We are ready to look for first shoes, but, Tessa and I are a little jealous of all that hair!

Our Sunday breakfast was exactly the same as yours, right down to the Bratz cups. And then, unfortunately, the same chores. Nice mail. Don't you love getting mail?

lucky lady!!! wasnt it a warm windy blow-all-the-cobwebs-away day yesterday!?!?!?, i love spring!! i wonder if they make those shoes in my size!!??

Love those shoes - She looks so cute in them. Shoe shopping is not fun in our house anymore - their feet are all too big.

The quilt is really lovely, so much work -

My husband makes crepes every saturday morning of our family - they are so yummy - and if he isn't around - we are very disappointed.

I love spring as well.

Wow!!!! How lucky, and busy, are you?? I'm so enviuos of the little treasures that you scored with your scrap swap. Is there going to be another one? If so I'd love to join. I'm always collecting little reminants of fabric for one offs that I like to make and this swap would be just perfect to help increase my stash.
The little shoes are just divine!!! Where did you pick those beauty's up from?
Keep up the great work.
Oh, by the way.... I love your four seasons quilt, definately very autumny and halloweeny too just like you said.

Lovely breakfast! Unfortunately my fave pancake pan suffered from some burnt on onions so it is no longer non-stick! I can now be heard on a Sunday morning swearing whilst I try to unstick the flipping pancakes, not the most relaxing breakfast!

Oh what a cute squirrel purse, and the fabric scraps are so nice too. I love your daughter's vest, did you make it or buy it. Love her shoes too, and they never seem to wear well on the toes whilst they are younger with all the running around they do.

He's going to run away when we bring home a new baby, I swear ....
