Party Time!

Wow, so much to tell you but where do I begin?

I think I will start with the slumber party on Saturday night.

A cherry themed slumber party. Five eight year old girls and my two oldest daughters. Fun!

They arrived at 5pm, made pizzas, ate icecream, played outside, watched a movie and giggled endlessly.

Making Pizzas

Their party bag was a little denim tote lined with cherry fabric with their initial on the front in more cherries.

Chloe's party bags

In it we put cherry earrings, cherry lollies, cherry note pad, pen and a little elephant stamp and stamp pad.

The girls were thrilled.

The earrings were a big hit and apparently make one look like a teenager! They even got teased by the nine year old boy next door over the fence.

Checking out the boy next door!

They thought it was 'the best party ever'!

The morning after

I have also had the most wonderful few days at the Stitches and Craft show. The stand was amazing and the staff just fantastic!

Stitches and Craft Show

I got to meet so many of our clever local crafty girls who were not only inspirational but just completely lovely.

Living Creatively

And I can't believe how many craft bloggers came in for a visit over the four days. Friday was like a huge ongoing blog meet and I was able to put a face to so many of my favourite reads.

Our bloggy visitors

We saw Jo, Tamara, Stacey, Corrie, Jodie, Annie, Donna, Tracey, and Kellie. And we shared the stand with Jenny, Fiona, Angela, Kristin, Kris, Amelia, Virginie, Bianca and other amazing crafty girls.

We were even brave enough to be interviewed on stage every day and some of you may have even caught us on Kerri-Anne Kennerley on Friday morning.

It was a really wonderful and rewarding experience in so many ways and I'm just so glad to have been offered the opportunity. We also got such positive response regarding 'Audrey and Maude' our new sewing pattern concept and loads of inspiration for patterns. Better get on with it then!!

What a lovely idea for the girls. I am imagining the giggles at the boy next door. My daughter (3 and a bit more than a half) loves waving at the 12 or 13 buy next door. Why does it have to happen so young?

Lovely to meet you at Stitches and Craft. Can't imagine how you had the energy to host a party - I was wiped out after a few days at the show. All the best with the new venture...

Oh my , we look like we are leaning over the back fence for a natter. Why has no-one posted a picture of me with my mouth shut, looking all demure? Why?
I love the cherry bags, you must be in dire need of a rest by now.

Hi Louise, thank you for your participation on the stand. It was nice to meet the gals behind Audrey & Maude in person. You're both adorable and it was great having you on the Living Creatively stand tirelessly promoting your new business as well as craft and creativity in general. It was lovely to see, two eager beavers starting a new venture that will encourage beginners to sew stylish things. You are everything that Living Creatively stands for. Thank you and I look forward to seeing you next time I visit Amitie.
